The Mutiny is a very small place with a bar atmosphere The tables are situated very close together. It took a 30minute drive to have to ride around a parking lot to find it, I is on the back side of a plaza. Received a gift card for this restaurant and decided to try the place. Nate Hynson General Manager (410) 787-2050 Thank you again for your review, and thank you for your consideration. We are truthfully dedicated to quality, and hope to make regulars out of all of our visitors. If you'd be willing to reach out to me via email with your mailing address, I'd happily drop something in the mail to encourage your return. All of that being said, we have been known to impress a guest or two, and we'd really love for you to give us another shot to prove it. It's our never ending goal to be the absolute best we can be, and we'll continue to work hard and making Mutiny amazing. Rolling your eyes at a guest is not the sort of behavior we're likely to tolerate, and I can't even begin to understand why it would seem appropriate when we're the ones who made the mistake. The nachos in a bowl are definitely on their way out, we're looking into new fry preparations, and your feedback about the service will be used as training highlights at our pre-shift meetings until they're resolved. I can assure you, your criticisms are not taken lightly, and we've already got the wheels moving to fix some of these very issues. While it's always disappointing to hear that we've let down a guest, this kind of feedback is actually the best tool we have for improving on what we do, so I appreciate that you took the time to write a review. We work hard to ensure that Mutiny is a great place to enjoy quality food, drinks and service, and you clearly didn't have that experience on your visit. With so many other places to eat in the area, I don't think I would find myself back here.Īdam, I'm very sorry to hear that your time spent at Mutiny did not live up to the high standards to which we hold ourselves. Service: Aside from the server rolling her eyes at me when I told her I asked for fries and I had received chips the service was ok. I thought I saw something about Rum flights. Drinks: They have a limited beer selection which isn't bad. Overall the food was pretty run of the mill, nothing to get you excited about and definitely nothing to bring you back. I also ordered beer bread, which was also lacking in flavor. When I finally did get fries they were thin and crunchy and lacking in taste. (Please, Maryland restaurants, stop putting old bay on EVERYTHING, maybe try something else for a change). I had a burger for dinner, and it was average, run of the mill. That is unless of course your plan is to save on the cost of chips by only putting 15 in the bowl which they did. They came in a bowl which is without a doubt the dumbest idea on how to serve nachos. We plan to return for happy hour in the near future and partake in a couple of rum flights and apps. They specialize in rums which plays off the pirate theme nicely. There are a couple of TV's-three(?)-but it is not a sports bar. The long L-shaped bar had only a few individuals eating brunch. The tables were about one-half occupied at mid-day with only a couple of kids so it was fairly quiet. We ate everything, except our potatoes, but we took them home with us. We both found the home fries to be tender but lacking in flavor, unlike the rest of the food. My wife had the Captain's Breakfast which included rye toast, a large portion of home fries, four strips of bacon (I ate 2), and two perfectly cooked, fried eggs. The creamed chipped beef had a smooth texture and was topped with sliced green onions-a nice touch. We ordered cream chipped beef which was served on wedges of Texas Toast and accompanied by a large helping of spicy tater tots. The drinks were very fresh and tasty and large enough to last through our meal along with a glass of water. (They relocated in the last year from Glen Burnie to Lake Shore Plaza.) We arrived at noon for brunch and had already planned to order a Bloody Mary and Mimosa to start out. We are relatively new to the area and have been looking forward to going to the Mutiny ever since we tried their crab soup at a local Rotary Club Crab Soup Cook-off.
